A reference for vocabulary words in American Literature
I agree. I think it's an old word that is similar to ointiment.
ReplyDeleteAnswers.com said that it was a medicine fluid rubbed into the skin to relieve pain or stiffness.
ReplyDeleteI have heard liniment used in histor class when learning about war and how soldiors needed limiment from injuries.
