perpetuated

I have no idea what this word means. Dictionary.com says to preserve from extinction or oblivion.

  1. This makes sense because perpetuated kind of sounds like preserve so it's easier to remember.

  2. To perpetuate means to save or maintain according to Dictionary. com but preserve would be a great another great word to remember it by!
