apparition

I think I've heard this word used in Macbeth before when the apparitions came to him and foretold what would happen so I think this means some sort of assumption that will happen.

  1. According to dictionary.com, it says apparition is a supernatural appearance of a ghost or thing.

  2. I connect apparition to appear. When something appears to you that is not real, you are having an apparition. Just another thing to help remember the definition.
